The children of class 1 sowed cress on cotton wool, watered the seeds every day and finally they could harvest with the scissors and put it on a bred with butter. It tastes very fine!
In the Bilingual lesson of science in class four we are talking about food and nutrition. We cut out a lot of pictures of several food and we found out that there are five groups of food:
Then we sticked the groups together and made a poster of food.
The children then made a concertina food diary. They used their own colour code for the food: Sugar/junk: red, fruit/veggies: green, Carbohydrates: yellow, Protein/Meat: brown, Dairy: blue
They put a spot of colour for everything they ate during five days.
On the inside cover they put the chart longways and added up each day to find out their totals of each food group.
