Self-moving vehicles in Poland

Polish pupils have made paper boats which have managed to flow with the help of the wind and water currents. Here you can see the links to short films documenting our work:

Ecological, moveable machine constructed by class IV c

It`s half a car- half a yacht. The base of the vehicle is a piece of  foamed polystyrene  wrapped around by old fabrics , a sail is made of linen and wooden barbecue sticks. The most difficult part of our project was the way the machine should be moved- how to connect the driving axle (wooden sticks ) with wheels (plastic caps from bottles) to the main part of the vehicle ?!

But finally our inventor FILIP solved the problem – he used old metal clothes clips and some plasticine !

We tried to give the movement to the vehicle by blowing into the sail. At first  we practiced with the power of  our lungs (the results weren`t satisfied ) then we used the stream of air produced by hairdryer. Although our vehicle moved not too far the young inventors were happy!!!
