In Germany the children of classes four created a diary about the energy use at home. In school we calculated the cost of the energy consumption. of using various appliances.
We regarded the use of TV, Coffee machines, washing mashines, light, computers, hair dryers, water kettles, microwaves and fridges and added up all the time these tools are in function or are used by us during the daytime.
Our conclusion:
Using energy costs a lot of money! We should switch off every appliance as often as possible!
We should use electrical tools as seldom as we can!!
